National Guard’s Enterprise Data Warehouse

 

The Army National Guard (ARNG) Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) is a key strategic asset in the ARNG transformation initiative. It is to serve as a cross‐functional Common Operating Picture (COP) decision support system for business intelligence. Decision makers use it daily to successfully accomplish diverse Federal and State missions. It provides a consistent Enterprise‐wide view of ARNG information assets and is easily accessible over the web through Guard Knowledge Online (GKO). In support of an SAIC contract, Tabis Group provided key developers with services to support and maintain the system. Currently working on a large-scale conversion to Microsoft BI.
Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI)
 
AFOSI conducts major fraud and criminal investigations and counterintelligence activities for the Air Force. Their headquarters in Quantico, VA is responsive to the needs of over 200 field units worldwide. Tabis Group continues in its five- year history of providing business intelligence and data warehousing services to AFOSI Headquarters and is currently working under General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT). Tabis Group staff provides expertise in reporting and visualization of military and law enforcement data, and in managing a system with a world-wide user base. It also supports AFOSI’s efforts by gathering requirements, planning, design, development, data analysis, and testing of new reports, data cubes or other BI products, and work closely with clients and users to ensure a complete understanding of expected products.
National Guard Counterdrug Program
 
The mission of the Counterdrug Program is to reduce the supply and demand for illegal drugs through partnership with law enforcement, community organizations and school districts. Tabis Group supported this program by integrating its first data warehouse into the NGB Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) system, providing dashboards and reports for users across the country. In addition to providing the BI tools, Tabis Group provided videos, training material and conducted user training to groups of 20-30 users in various locations.

HRTT required Cognos customization services to provide the development and customization of reports generation capability to customers working with the USA Staffing system. Tabis Group staff provided expert assistance in configuring and customizing the Cognos 10 software.
